I have only one play for friday:

Friday Regionalliga Nord

Osnabrück to beat Leverkussen @ 1.444 !! 2 units!!

Osnabrück is one of the top 3 teams in league. They should get an easy win against lowly Leverkusen. No much more to say. Stronger team at home.

BOL to all and see you all for Saturday's games

chris - Good luck to you!

I have a very full card this weekend, with some weird cover picks. Many of these are value picks, where I think I am getting very nice odds on teams that have decent chances of getting results in my favour. Here they go:

Friday:

Wehen straight over Bayern II

Kaiserslautern II - Elversberg draw/FCK pk (Say what, you ask? I have structured two bets in such a way that I am getting a very nice return if this match ends in a draw, but I have covered the FCK win.)

Dynamo - SC Freiburg draw/SCF pk

Saturday:

Fortuna Duesseldorf straight over Koeln II

RW Erfurt pk over Werder II

Hoffenheim pk over Trier

TuS Koblenz pk over KSC II

1860 II straight over Bayreuth

Frankfurt +1.5 against Hertha

HSV pk and -0.5 over Bielefeld

Sunday:

Siegen - Unterhaching draw/Haching pk

Saarbruecken pk over Paderborn

Burghausen - Aue draw/Aue pk

Ahlen pk over Braunschweig

VfB Stuttgart -1 over Koeln

Either of you two have an opinion on today's match between Aachen and Karlsruhe? I am leaning towards Aachen.

MarkieMark - Not much of an opinion as my personal views, and you can make up your own mind.

Aachen is hampered by several injuries, and while on paper they are rated higher than KSC, those injuries are having an impact. I think chris took Aue against Aachen precisely because of this, and won his bet on Monday.

KSC have improved over the break, but the jury is still out. The win against Siegen wasn't impressive, as Siegen were hopeless, and KSC just squeaked by, regardless of the 2-0 scoreline.

I left it be, but my lean would be on Aachen as well, if you made me choose one.

deutsche is exactly right on his analysis of the aachen match...leave it alone and collect the money in germany tomorrow.

my only lean in 2. Bundesliga would be München over rostock.
Deutscher's wehen pick is the right side, but not sure about an ourtright win.
Freiburg i would go the other side and bet against if i had to. they did not have the solid performance last week i was expecting from them.

Out of curiosity, are you "risking" 2 units or have a "base" of two units... best of luck

This is quite on a tangent, but if I had an account at gamebookers or betandwin, I would be heavy on Vfb Auerbach over TSV Voelpke in the Oberliga NOFV-Sued. TOTAL mismatch, and at 1.45 at gamebookers, this is like stealing candy from a baby.

deutscher, not to critize your pick, but to bet on this kind of leagues is crazy in my opinion, unless you know somebody in the team who told you they have been all out partying last night and are still drunk :drink:

AFL GURU: if nothing else stated my regular plays are all risking one unit. My big plays are risking 2 units.

chris - I wanted to delete that post right after I made it - I have no business posting on a match where I won't risk any of my own funds.

Having said that, I talked to a friend who was at the Voelpke - Halberstadt match from last weekend. He told me that Voelpke was the poorest side he has seen in Oberliga play - maybe ever. They have a decent goalie, who prevented double figures, and managed zero shots on the opposing goal.

But the spirit of your post is correct - the Oberligen are sooo unpredictable - and this is the last post you'll see from me in their regard.

Yuck... you don't look for teams at 1.44 to be down 1-0 in the 70th minute... we'll get 'em this weekend Chris

eh, would've felt better if they lost outright... 1-1 does the same thing that 0-1 does...

chris:

How will Freiburg and Rostock do this year now that they have been relegated to a weaker league?

Thanks in advance.

I expect Freiburg to be in the hunt for promotion. they will not dominate the league,as they are not good enough. But they are experienced in 2. bundesliga style of play as they have been relagated and promoted quite often. They will be around 2nd to 6th place.

Rostock should promote, but after been so long in 1. Liga they seem to have problems to adjust to lower league so far. they lost first two games in shocking style. they will bounce back and will be a moneymaker for us later on, but right now we should just have a look and see when they start to adjust and turn around. for promotion it could be too late by then, like last year with 1860 München. Same story: they went down after a long time in 1.Liga..struggled for first half of season and were the most dominant team in 2nd half..jjust to finish one spot short of promotion

Tough loss yesterday. Today not much value in 1. Bundesliga, but we will see:

SATURDAY:

1. Bundesliga

Bielefeld- Hamburg: Hamburg pk,-0.5 @ 1.877

Hamburg the much better team. They won 3-0 last week at home and got a win over Valencia in ui-cup during week. They should have a great chance to get the win as bielfeld struggled last week as expected. Bielfeld is simply not solid on defense and hamburg should be able to score once or twice which will be enough for the win.

Dortmund- Schalke: Schalke pk @ 1.99

Big-derby and i ll go with the better team here. Schalke has won the last matches played at dortmund and i like their chances again. they are the better team, but in this kind of derby everthing can happen.

Leverkusen- München: over 2.5,3 goals @ 1.833

Open game. only sure thing i see is that Leverkusen is a very offensive team, which is struggeling on defense and München will also try to go for the win, which should lead to a very entertaining game.

Kaiserslautern- Duisburg: Under 2.5,3 @ 1.833

I lean to Kaiserslautern here (maybe i ll make it a play later on), but i like the under much more: Lautern has offensive problems and i dont expect Duisburg to play very offensively in their first away game in league. Duisburg has shown a solid defense last week against stuttgart and i ex´pect the same again today

REgionalliga Nord

Essen- Oberhausen: Essen to win @ 1.5 !! 2 units!!

Mismatch!! simple as that. one of the strongest teams in league, off a solid start into season against one of the weaker, struggeling teams.

Jena- Münster: Jena to win @ 1.71

Jena off to a surprising solid start. i can see them continue against a struggeling Münster, which has also injury problems for today

Regionalliga Süd:

Stuttgart- Augsburg: Augsburg to win @ 1.95

Augsburg is one of the top 3 teams in league and off a solid start. Stuttgart did not look good last week and Augsburg should get the away win here.

BOL to all
